Moving is a huge undertaking. It's not something that can be planned at the last minute. If done right, the planning process can start months before the actual move. You're truck rental should also come with dual faced mirrors so that it will be easier for you to monitor others on the road. And more than likely, you'll want a truck rental that comes with power steering and power brakes.
Reserving your truck
Once you decide on the truck size and features you need, book a reservation. If you wait to the last minute, you might find yourself with a packed house, without a way to move your belongings. Reserve a truck at least a month in advance before you plan to move. And if you plan to move on the weekends, you might need to make that reservation even more than a month in advance, especially during the busy summer months when the majority of people schedule a move.
