Do you have others to help?
Unless you have a very limited amount of belongings to move, you'll need others to help you with a truck rental move. Start asking your family and friends if they would be willing to help pack, load, and unload your belongings. Remember that you'll need to recruit some people that will be able to lift; if you just have volunteers to pack, you'll be stuck with all of the heavy lifting.
Do you feel comfortable driving a truck rental?
Though it's not much different than driving a car, you might not feel comfortable driving a truck. If you're not comfortable with the idea, maybe your partner or spouse can drive the truck. Just remember that the truck rental company will instruct you in how to drive the vehicle.
Do you have the time?

Can you move the fragile items?
